Jan 26 - Feb 11, 2026 | Bird watching in Cambodia and South Vietnam is a unique experience with abundant and rich birdlife. In Vietnam we will explore diverse habitats from lowland forests and deltas to the highland with many regional specialties and endemics. Cambodia is known for the deciduous dipterocarp forests. We will visit superb National Parks and spectacular historical ruins including Angkor Wat.

“2 great countries to visit, cultures very different from our own, excellent food. Lots of birds to see, great local guides. Good time of the year, good weather. Accommodation more in keeping with that part of the world, don't expect 5star north american hotels outside main cities. Not a lot of English spoken in the local population but very good with sign language - made some restaurant stops interesting.”

“We recently returned from our tour to South Vietnam and Cambodia... the tour exceeded our expectations! The hotels used were great, food was well prepared and local guides were excellent! They communicated very well with the group and helped us get eyes on some VERY special bird species! The temple tours at Angkor Wat area was a great addition to the tour itinerary!”
