Saw Whooping Cranes on the first day--and a lovely selection of other migratory species in the countryside. Exploring the boreal environs of Prince Albert National Park was productive and delightful. And the CG rep was an excellent addition for photography discussions and advice. It was a lovely tour.

Experience the prairie landscapes around Saskatoon and travel to the northern forests on this tour. Whooping Cranes are incredibly beautiful birds, and seeing them here on a stopover from their northern home is the focus of this tour, and there is much, much more to be seen.

This trip offered me a chance to visit a part of Canada that I hadn’t been in before… while some of the birds we saw were familiar… there were many new to me ones… and the number of birds that we saw was simply amazing. We traveled with great guides and a knowledgeable rep. from the Canadian Geographic.
