May 30 - Jun 4, 2026 | Join us on our Canadian Rockies birding tour of Waterton Lakes National Park. The bulk of our days will be spent birding the foothills and mountains of Kananaskis and Waterton. We will also explore prairie sloughs and the culturally significant Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. In addition to birding, we will have the opportunity to see lots of mammals including Elk, Bighorn Sheep and perhaps even Grizzly Bears.

“A fabulous trip with Jody and Yousif against all weather odds; we saw everything from the American Dipper to a Mother Moose with her 2 calves and did I mention the grizzly bear or Prairie Falcon! 22 new lifers and 12 new friends . It was amazing , the scenery, the birds , the flowers and everything in between . Highly recommend”

“This tour had it all with respect to location - from plains to the Rocky Mountains and everything in between. Eagle Eyes is a very organized tour company from the first email to post tour. All your questions are answered timely and the information is complete. The tour itself was just great! Nick and Mark were outstanding birding guides who also knew the locations and terrain really well. They helped me find over a dozen life birds! They could also recognize all the animals we saw as well, which was fun! I would certainly recommend Eagle Eye Tours as well as Nick and Mark!”

“This was our first tour with Eagle-Eye and we were very impressed with both the birding and the care given to us by the guides. Mark and Nick are top notch, and their expertise was obvious. I have no complaints about the accommodations during the tour and enjoyed the opportunities to foster relationships with fellow birders. Overall, this was a great experience!!”

“Our guides Jody & Yousif were amazing ‼️. Their attention to our safety & well being was # 1. They were always so willing to share their incredible knowledge & experiences of all birds & wildlife & everything of nature. This tour showed me so many beautiful places in our country I never knew existed. An area of so many varieties of birds & wildlife it was hard to believe you were in our beautiful country Canada. “Beautiful country and great opportunity for birds. Hotels were nice and food was great! We had some challenging weather with an unusually rainy and cold 3 days, but our guides Jody and Yousif did a great job and worked hard at finding the birds! Would 100 percent recommend!”

“Despite some nasty weather for much of the duration of the tour, a good trip as well as good bird and mammal sightings. Jody and Yousif did well in taking us to spots where the inclement weather was less intense .”
