Knowledgeable, fun & passionate guides. They ensured we saw as many bird species as possible. They were also very knowledgeable about bird behaviour and biology.

The tour was amazing and I would recommend it. Our tour guides were excellent at finding and identifying birds. The accommodations were comfortable and the food was delicious. The scenery along the coastline was like no where else with seabirds and eagles and so much more to see. This was a trip of a lifetime for me.

This trip met all my expectations. Good agenda, well managed, flexibility, and great tour leaders. Our guides were knowledgeable and very willing to share it. I believe we were able to collectively see 100 species of birds. We were very fortunate to have a good group of people and excellent weather.

Myrna Pearman is a wonderful ambassador for CanGeo. She is an outstanding photographer, her photos capturing sentient creatures rather than a static picture. She is very compassionate and enthusiastic about the natural world which she shared with us all. I think CanGeo and eagle-eye tours together is a complementary pairing.

We went to see birds, Puffin and Gannet being those of primary interest. We saw lots of Puffin and Gannet and got great photos. There weren't as many other birds as we'd expected. We enjoyed touring the Rock. St John's colorful houses, the many different rocky shorelines, lighthouses, and quaint villages. The people of Newfoundland were very friendly and helpful. The lodgings were very nice, and if you like seafood, there was plenty, it was fresh, and well prepared. The guides were very knowledgeable birders and made sure everyone got a view of the target birds.
