The Warehouse 5/8" 4 string Maple bridge with ebony tip for tenor and plectrum banjos. Available in 5/8" only. This Warehouse 4-string banjo bridge is machined from dense maple and fitted with an ebony top that is pre-notched and spaced. The three footed 'Minstrel' bridge style has proved to be very popular over the years with top class players, it is fitted to many top class professional banjos that we sell here at Eagle Music. The Stew Mac 4 string bridge is available in 5/8" only. If you wish to experiment for different sounds from your banjo ...as many banjo players do! You can re-work the bridge and sand them thinner for a 'snappier' sound or sand, radius, 'canter' the tops (sand at an angle), feet or edges. Also in use, try 'canting' the bridge (set it at an angle in relation to the strings) to improve intonation ...The price is mimimal for the fun that you will have in experimenting! These bridges are 1 3/8'' string spacing (34.92mm).
