It has a spruce top with four decorative fret worked sound holes, mahogany stained maple back and sides and rock maple fingerboard.The headstock is fitted with four geared tuners. It has double melody and two single course strings. There are many alternative tunings; we suggest (1st) DD(Treble (1st) is towards player) Middle string A Bass string D The above is standard 'D' tuning for dulcimer.
