“I`ve owned other Gibsons over the years, and there`s always a bit of regret that I didn`t hold on to them. This one is in remarkably good condition, considering that it has clearly been played in a professional music environment. There are others on the market right now that are newer, and are selling around the same price, but have not been looked after with the same respect. I like the fact that the previous owner looked after it but didn`t do a lot of cleaning and polishing, so I can see how he played, and bent the treble strings above the 12th fret. Some customers look for instruments that never left the box, and good luck to them. Personally I think good instruments need to be played, and you can`t fault them for having fulfilled their purpose.”
