“I bought this to for a baroque violin - no chin rest, no shoulder rest. Its just right for giving a bit of support. It seems well made and being leather, its a good natural material and gives the needed bit of friction to hold the violin in place on the collar bone. It attaches to the end pin snuggly. It looks classy compared to using a piece of sponge!”
