“My first Suzuki harp, and it plays very nicely! I specifically wanted to try the silencer so that I can practice in the evenings without driving my family crazy. It does the job on that front, noticeably reducing volume.
You do feel a bit of extra resistance when playing due to the restricted airflow but I adjust quickly enough for some practice. The reeds are very smooth to play but the Shinobix cover plates are chunky and a satin finish plastic so not the fastest to play.
Overall it performs its advertised role, a quieter harp for practice, very well. Perhaps a little expensive but a fairly niche product and the quality is good.”
