“Beautifully made instrument which although secondhand appears new. Great sound and projection and the factory installed passive pickup system sounds great.
The setup was superb and the only thing I needed to do was to add a strap button at the heel (personal preference) before taking the mandolin to a gig the next day.
The nut width and string spacing are a little on the narrow side for me but the radiused fingerboard helps considerably with playability.
I am primarily a guitarist and have limited ability on the mandolin but this one is hard to put down so I'm likely to be practising a lot more!
My impression is that this mandolin punches well above its weight and is excellent value for money.”
