“I have two senior dogs and one young dog and all three like the Earthbones.
My young Mini Aussie eats hers so fast that I’m not sure her teeth could possibly be getting any benefit. My other two seniors don’t gulp theirs down so hopefully their teeth are getting some cleaning.”
Thank you for your feedback, Dixie! Some dogs chew earthbones quickly, and others take their time with it. Either way, their teeth sink deeply into the bone with each chew scraping away plaque, strengthening gums and freshening breath. Since earthbones are designed to be easily digestible and soft enough for teeth to sink all the way in, they don’t function as a long-lasting chew for powerful chewers - however that won’t affect their effectiveness.
