Hi Carl, thank you for your feedback! Some dogs chew earthbones quickly, and others take their time with it. Either way, their teeth sink deeply into the bone with each chew scraping away plaque, strengthening gums and freshening breath. Since earthbones are designed to be easily digestible and soft enough for teeth to sink all the way in, they don’t function as a long-lasting chew for powerful chewers - however that won’t affect their effectiveness.
