“Great drive, am daisy chaining it to a 12TB G-Raid Thunderbolt 3, purpose of incremental back up of my entire system up via time machine. Was using an older G-Drive which was getting on a bit and firewire 800 and kept failing backups. This one seems to be flawless in operation and quick. I didnt see the point of TB3 before, but it is worth it if you are using multiple drives (I'm daisy chaining 5 at the same time) 2 x TB3, 2 x TB1 and the old firewire 800 which is still connected to the workflow. The benefits is no disk drop offs which I was getting with USB3, and a lag free connection to all disks. Good system, and this drive is enterprise class + 5 year guarantee so that's quite a lot of piece of mind.”
