How to use for best results?

“The ingredients are great, the consistency is easy to use. My only complaint is in the color. It's more magenta than violet. I will still order again but maybe the royal blue next time.”

“This eye pencil is great. It goes on very smooth with very little effort. I've used some pencils where you really have to press in order to get them to apply to your eyes or brows. But the downside to that "very little effort" is that the colored part of the pencil, when first sharpened breaks very, very easy. To where you have to re-sharpen the pencil....sometimes 2 times. This wouldn't be an issue if this product was only $1, but it's not. So to go through several sharpenings for just one use at $16 is very irritating. I've been using pencils for about 25 years for both my brows and eyes, so I'm not a newbie in sharpening or applying. I just wish the colored part wasn't so fragile. But that could be because they don't add all sorts of crap to the product and just might have to be something I have to deal with.”

“I love this eyeliner. It works just as well as big-name brands, and it is much better to be putting on our bodies than some of the chemicals that come in other products. On Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep database, it scores a 1, meaning with the information available there are very few ingredient concerns for health hazards. I have replaced all of my cosmetics with less "toxic" products- which was a HUGE struggle considering that many "environmentally friendly" products just don't seem to work as well. Not the case with this eyeliner. I haven't had a problem with it crumbling or not sharpening, but it is a soft pencil. It does a great smudged line, but can make a sharp, defined line when freshly sharpened and a little cool- stick it in the freezer for a few minutes.”

“The pencil is a little bit on the hard side but otherwise it performs just like traditional eye pencil. I ordered black and it looks very natural against my dark lashes.”
