How to use for best results?

“I was looking to clear my closet out and move towards animal-friendly products (as well as more human-friendly products), so decided to research what was available in makeup.I first spent some time researching vegan products, so-called "natural" products, and products listed on the Environmental Working Group website. My primary criteria for evaluating eyeliners were a. not full of harmful materials, b. under $20 USD, and c. while I wasn't expecting velvet, I was looking for eyeliner that would go on at least somewhat smoothly. Oh, and d. pencil form, since I really hate liquid.With all that in mind, I finally settled on this product. It meets the above criteria, and goes on smoothly, AND it's vegan to boot (along with being gluten-free, if you need this). It's a bit light, but nothing an extra coat won't fix, and it has a faint coppery shine to it. It's lasted me for quite some time, and I find I need to sharpen the pencil less frequently than I thought I might.”

“First, I love this color--it's great for day wear and days when a dark eyeliner just seems too heavy. And the pencil is very soft, oes on like an eyeshadow pencil almost. And last, it stays all day.”

“This is the best non toxic eyeliner pencil I have found so far! It glides on softly without dragging on the delicate tissues around the eye. And the velvet color is oh so dark! You can smudge it for a variety of effects, and because it is so highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. Great price, too!”

“The color glides on without dragging or irritating the delicate eye tissue. The ingredients do not irritate my eye, as so many eye makeup products do. I have tried other high-end natural makeup pencils, with less than satisfactory results -- colors too harsh, and the color did not glide on -- the pencil dragged and pulled. This pencil is the best I've encountered.”
