“Very nice bit that worked VERY well. I used it free hand to core around a pipe, vertically. I started with 1/4" holes in a circle, chiseled a place for the core bit to rest in that circle. Slow speed and dry to start. Once a 1/4" deep flat was established as a guide, I could ramp up the drill speed and I also used water since I now had a reservoir for the water. Switched to a Milwaukee Super Hawg in low gear to complete the hole. I was dubious of the results since I was free handing this operation but it worked well and the bit even handled a small peice of broken 1/4" bit even though it its not rated for rebar and such! Fast shipping from EDiamond as well !! Can't go wrong with these bits or EDiamond!”
