“Needed to core drill a two (2) 4" holes in quartzite for Point Pod popup on a kitchen island and the suggested core bit sold by Point Pod barely able to accomplish the task on the first hole after untold hours and several redressings of the bit. I purchaed the high performance segmented core bit for second hold and it worked like a charm. It took about an hour and I kept the bit cool by making a circular water dam out of plumbers putty.”
