“Saw this item in store with yellow gold accents, loved the bracelet but not the yellow. I was thrilled to see in online with pink gold accents. It is a little large for my wrist but will consider if I want a link removed or not, this will not be an everyday wear so it may not need to be addressed. The only real issue is the safety clasps do not lock securely, though I know I can bring it in to be adjusted; the main clasp is very secure.”
“Having seen this on a Cruise ship in January 2022 and resisting the urge to buy it I was rather happy to see it back available online this summer, and I ordered it.
Sadly it looks nothing like the online artwork.
Firstly the rose gold applied to the cuff along the row of sapphires on the one I received looks like its been applied by a trainee manicurist, its uneven, shabby and the Sterling Silver can be seen and it looks like either a prototype or someone could not be bothered to ensure this item was crafted to Effy's usual high standards. Not what you expect for an item with an RRP of over $2500.
Secondly it has additional clasps on the link that holds the bracelet together that appear to do nothing, they did not close when I tried the bracelet on, I do not recall these being on the one I saw in January 2022. These are usually found on WOMEN'S Jewellery and do nothing as they don't hold together.
It is a shame as I have two other Effy pieces that I really like and this would have complimented them perfectly, as well as a watch that I wear most of the time, the three pieces would really have worked together well. Sadly I will not be visiting the Effy Store on my next cruise as I am no longer confident in their work or craftsmanship for myself or other pieces.”
