Simple install with SIG extractor and whole assembly worked like a charm.

The pin diameter appeared to be oversize such that it was very difficult to drive into the hole in my Sig Ultra slide. In fact, after driving it about one-third of the way in, with significant difficulty, the exposed portion bent over. It was in the hole so tightly that I could not drive it out. I also bet two punches in the process. Consequently, I sent the slide (with the stick pin). spring, and extractor along with the OEM extractor, pin, and spring to my gunsmith for pin removal and installation of the new extractor with the OEM pin.

I encountered some difficulties shooting SWC cartridges with my GSR XO; as a reactive/preventive maintenance protocol, I replaced the Bruce Gray extractor spring with a new EGW one. In retrospect, it was probably unnecessary, but the new EGW spring certainly performs superbly. I suspect that it's at least as good and probably a better alternative to the SIG replacement (SIG was out of stock anyhow when I queried). It's nice that EGW offers the spring and pin as a separate order item, instead of bundling them with their extractor, which for me was unnecessary; the one Bruce Gray made for me has performed superbly for some 13 years. Best, Jon
