The spring itself is good quality, however, it does not snap onto the two metal pieces that hold the spring in place. TISAS 1911 no fit.

Bought the plunger spring, the slide lock end and the thumb safety ends all together. The inner diameter of the spring is just a little too big to grab the barbs on either of the two ends. I tried crimping the end of the spring over the barbs with needle nose so that it would grab but that didn’t work either. If you don’t mind your plunger tube being 3 separate pieces, I guess this spring would be fine. Not what I was looking for.

I was getting premature lock back on my Colt Defender slide while rounds were still in the magazine. This spring which is more robust than the factory Colt spring solved the problem.
