We are proud to offer our Oversized Slide Stop as an addition to our Heavy Duty line of 1911 parts. This product is machined from solid.Our 38/9/40 Slide Stops do fit in a Springfield EMP 9/40. This slide stop is finished with serrations on the pad for enhanced gripping capabilities. We do not have any slide stops with a smooth pad. Warning: This product may be alloyed with trace amounts of lead and other elements which are known to the State of California to cause reproductive harm and cancer. “Slide stop cosmetically was good ! It was an oversize and improved the play in the barrel lockup at the hood....breach face on a brand New Colt Commander in 38 Super. I would recommend this for minor play in any 1911 ! Unfortunately for me this brand new Colt barrel fitment is so awful this did cure my issue but was definetely an improvement and I am very happy with the quality of this part !!!!”

“Perfect for tightening barrel lockup. The logman cut on he slide stop really makes reassembly a breeze. I'll use this slide stop for every new build or rebuild.”

“This slide stop inserted easily and I was able to do it with low pressure. The original, that came with the pistol, was so hard to replace as it took extreem pressure and many tries. The groove, for the indent ball, solved all of my problems with slide stop re-installation.”
