This magazine release uses regular 1911 magazine release locks and springs.This product has a standard height shelf.This magazine release does not come checkered or serrated to allow the end user to modify to their own taste.The bottom of the release is flat to limit how far the magazine can be inserted into the frame.Our standard mag release (catch) will hold the magazine shelf in the normal location. This is a quality heat treated part that will match the cut out on an STI / SVI frames. This part is NOT MIM or CAST. Our mag release (catches) are NOT tapped for buttons, but can be drilled and tapped by the end user. The button on our mag catch is .200" long.Mag Catch Spring and Mag Catch Lock are sold seperately.
