“This part is as aadvertised . . . much better than an OEM part in that the steel is heat treated and the finish is excellent. I buggered up my original catch lock and sorely needed a replacement for my US Govt Model (Mfr'd 1918). I purchased 3 of these to mitigate a "sproing" disaster. I had to fit the part on this particular assembly, but it fit without modification on another. Fitting requied modest material removal from the, for lack of a better term, lock extension which protruded enough to prevent installation. I am very pleased with the quality and price.”
