Reverse Plugs from EGW are designed for easy installation and increased performance.Made from carbon steel (not lead alloy) to eliminate cracking, the rounded shoulder is extended for added support with no exposed area where cracks can occur.A reverse plug is used in comp guns and bull barreled pistols where there is no bushing to retain the spring.This plug is for Commander length slides only. Available in Carbon Steel only. Must be installed by a competent gunsmith.

“I bought this to replace the one that came on my 9 mm emissary. It didn't work as bought, had to take it to my machinist, he turned down the back shoulder so it would go into the gun, it works now, wasn't a manufacturing problem just didn't work in my application, I'm using it with a dawson tool less guide rod in a 4 1/4" emissary.”

“Excellent quality, be aware it doesn't work with atlas slides. The atlas spring plug hood is shorter so this plug sticks out the front .25 inch. I will just use it on a different build later.”
