Again, doing some more upgrades to my Tisas Commander. I can't enough about the Angle Bore bushings from EGW. I have been upgrading all my 1911s to the angle bore bushing. The bushing fit is perfect in my opinion, it is tight. I have to use the bushing wrench for about the last 1/8" turn just how I like it.

Bushing and oversized slide stop were installed. Bushing dropped in the slide with no perceptible play between the slide and bushing. Had to use a bushing wrench to turn the bushing into final position. However, effort was minimal. The play between the bushing and the barrel was almost nonexistent. The slide appeared to lock up correctly. Test fired about 30 rounds with no failures to feed, fire or extract. Did not notice any significant reduction in average group size from stock bushing. Further shooting may show some reductions as parts settle in.

I provided EGW the slide ID and barrel OD, they took it from there. I received the bushing in about 10 days, perfect fit for my Colt Government model, improved accuracy immediately. Thanks, EGW!
