Our Officer's bushings are machined from solid barstock steel.The flange thickness is .125" which protects the barrel more because it sticks out farther than the spec bushing. The Officer's bushings are pre-bored and sized to fit officer's model weapons. Available in Melt or Carry Bevel.Available in Blue or Stainless Steel. I.D. = Inside diameter of your slide .764". O.D. = Outside diameter of your barrel .693".

“Outstanding machine work and quality of finish. But sadly the bushing would not fit my Colt Cbt Cmdr 45 1911 as the tang/lug did not fit the recess in the slide and would not rotate to clear the recoil spring plug.”

“This EGW Colt Officers Model barrel bushing was a tight fit into the slide and I had to use a bushing wrench to get it to rotate in my Auto Ordnance ZG51 slide. I had to relieve a bit of stock of the bushing's front of it's lug but after I got in done the bushing seated properly. I used a new Officers Model stainless steel barrel with Para/Clark feed ramp for this project. The barrel was slightly oversize so I had to bore out the inside of the bushing slightly to get it to fit. When this was done the pistol was successfully assembled and test fired. In my pic the barrel bushing successfully installed.”
