Our Officer's bushings are machined from solid barstock steel. The flange thickness is .125" which protects the barrel more because it sticks out farther than the spec bushing. The Officer's bushings are pre-bored and sized to fit officer's model weapons. Available in Melt or Carry Bevel.Available in Blue or Stainless Steel. I.D. = Inside diameter of your slide .764". O.D. = Outside diameter of your barrel .693". Warning: This product may be alloyed with trace amounts of lead and other elements which are known to the State of California to cause reproductive harm and cancer. To prevent exposure, do not alter the product by welding, grinding, etc. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

This barrel bushing is not a drop in. Needs some slight machining or polishing to fit properly. I’m sure after some of that it’ll be fine.

Thanks for the review. This bushing is made for the Colt officer's model and should not require any fitting as long as the information below matches your slide and barrel. I.D. = Inside diameter of your slide .764". O.D. = Outside diameter of your barrel .693". Due to manufacturing tolerances slides and barrels may vary which could cause the bushing to not "drop in". As long as the specs above are true on your gun, this should drop in.

I wanted to try a new bushing on my Officer ACP but have never fitted a bushing before. All in all it took a couple hrs, but it fits nice and snug. Very happy with the bushing. The lines of the bushing don’t quite line up with the slide but I’m sure if you wanted you could file the to match exact. I also had a slight binding issue with the stock bushing that is now corrected. To fit I made a jig to hold the bushing in my Shopsmith and used emery cloth strips to take off a couple .1000’s. The inner bore was just buffed and it slid over the barrel. All in all very happy.
