Speed up your reloads and enhance your grip. This Mainspring Housing & Magwell Combo is the ultimate upgrade for your Beretta 92, 96, or Vertex model. By integrating the magwell funnel directly with the mainspring housing, we've created a rock-solid unit that doesn't wiggle or shift during competition. The funnel guides your magazine into place, smoothing out fumbled reloads under stress, while the checkered mainspring housing improves your traction on the gun.
Installation Instructions Before reinstalling the mainspring housing and the plug, make sure that the magwell fits over the frame and sits flat. Install the threaded mainspring housing and plug into the pistol per manufacturer’s recommendations (see the owner’s manual). Start the included 6-32 X 5/16” screw into the threaded mainspring housing plug. Have the appropriate allen/hex wrench ready. Slide the magwell over the screw head (larger side of the hole). Keep the magwell centered over the frame as you tighten the screw. Tighten the screw finger tight. Magazine Basepad Fitment:Due to dimensional variations on magazines, it may be necessary to remove a minimal amount of material from your magazine's basepad for the magazine to seat properly.

Beretta Magwell FAQ
Will this fit the Vertex / 92X?
Yes. This unit fits both the standard curved backstrap frames (92FS/M9) and the straight backstrap Vertex frames (92X, M9A3).
Do I need special magazines?
Likely no. As noted above, factory plastic base pads are sometimes too wide to fit inside the funnel. You may need to sand down the sides of your factory base pads or switch to aftermarket "extended" base pads to ensure they seat fully.
Does it require gunsmithing?
Installation is generally drop-in, but requires disassembling the mainspring housing assembly. If you are uncomfortable with this level of disassembly, we recommend a gunsmith.
