“I installed this thread protector on a custom rifle for a client. The client ordered a threaded muzzle but just wanted a thread protector. This thread protector fit my class 3A threaded muzzle perfectly. I'm glad EGW makes a high-quality good looking carbon steel thread protector because I mostly use stainless barrels and this solves galling issues my clients could potentially have with a stainless thread protector.
