The Remington 660 and 600 Mohawk are classic, handy carbines, but their original scope mounting options are dated. This EGW Picatinny rail brings your rifle into the modern era, providing a solid, one-piece platform that accepts all Picatinny and Weaver-style rings. Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and rigid. The extruded center channel running down the middle of the rail reduces overall mass without sacrificing durability. The cross slots run the full length of the mount, giving you the flexibility to position your scope rings exactly where you need them for proper eye relief—perfect for short-action carbines where mounting space is often limited. Why choose 0 MOA?
For the Remington 660 and 600 Mohawk, which are typically used as brush guns or mid-range hunters, 0 MOA is the ideal choice. It keeps your scope optically centered for shots inside 0-500 yards. Unless you are building a custom long-range rig, you do not need 20 MOA.
Will this fit the original Model 600?
Yes. The receiver dimensions and hole spacing (3.633") are identical across the Model 600, 600 Mohawk, and Model 660 families. This rail fits them all.
Do I need to drill my receiver?
No. These rifles came factory drilled and tapped. Our rail aligns perfectly with the factory 4-hole pattern. We include the correct #6-48 screws and a driver bit for installation.
