Installation & Overview
(Watch our guide on how to properly torque and install your EGW rail).
Unlock the full potential of your Remington auto-loader. Whether you are running a modern Versa Max for 3-gun competitions or setting up a classic 11-87 for deer season, this EGW Picatinny rail provides the solid mounting platform you need. It converts your shotgun's receiver to a universal Picatinny standard, allowing you to mount red dots, scopes, or holographic sights with ease. Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and contoured to the receiver. The center channel reduces weight and keeps the optic low to the bore. We include specific screw lengths to ensure proper fitment across the different Remington semi-auto models. Technical Specifications

Remington Auto-Loader FAQ
Is my 1100 drilled and tapped?
Usually no. Most older 1100 and 11-87 Field models have a smooth receiver top. You will need to take it to a gunsmith to have the 4 holes drilled and tapped before this mount can be installed.
Will this fit the V3?
Yes. The Remington V3 and Versa Max share the same receiver radius and hole spacing as the 1100/11-87 pattern. Most V3/Versa Max shotguns come drilled and tapped from the factory.
Will this fit a 20 Gauge?
No. This mount is designed for the standard 12 Gauge receiver radius. 20 Gauge receivers are smaller and the mount will not sit flush.

I've bought two over the last several months. One for my 1100 and one for my 11-87. Both work perfectly. I can't use my right eye to shoot anymore. So I need an optic to use the guns. Very pleased.

This was a hard review. I have several EGW mounts and have had zero issues. This mount also worked well as far as fit but the screws it came with were garbage. Using my fix it stick torque wrench and blue lock tite, per the instructions, stripped out several of the screws before getting to proper torque. Luckily there were extras so I got it installed, but ever screw I was cringing as I approached 20 in pounds. Curious to see if the mount loosens up with use.

Great fit for my remington v3. Hole locations were spot on. Screws could've been .015 to .020 longer to get further into receiver, but they did work.

My rail came with 3 of the mounting holes not completely drilled out so the set screws would not seat deep enough to mount the rail with out my friend drilling them out more.
