Installation & Overview
(Watch our guide on how to properly torque and install your EGW rail).
Push your Savage to the limit. If you are shooting calibers like 6.5 Creedmoor or .308 Win out past 600 yards, standard mounts might not give you enough elevation. This 20 MOA Picatinny Rail angles your scope downward, giving you 20 extra minutes of angle of upward elevation travel. This prevents you from "bottoming out" your turret when dialing for extended distances. Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and rigid. We include mounting hardware for both standard receivers (#6-48 screws) and heavy-duty magnum/target receivers (#8-40 screws), ensuring a perfect fit for modern rifles like the Savage 110 Ultralite and Stealth. Savage Round Back FAQ
Why choose 20 MOA?
20 MOA angles your scope downward toward the barrel. This forces you to dial your reticle "up" to re-center it, effectively giving you 20 extra minutes of angle of upward adjustment. This is critical for reaching out past 600 yards without running out of internal scope travel.
Will this fit the Savage Axis?
No. The Savage Axis (and Edge) uses a completely different hole spacing. Please see our specific Savage Axis rails.
