This Silver 20 MOA Picatinny Rail is designed for stainless Savage Short Actions shooting at extended distances. The 20 MOA cant provides the extra elevation adjustment needed to dial out past 600 yards, while the clear anodized finish perfectly complements your rifle's aesthetics. Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and specifically contoured to the round top of the AccuTrigger-era receivers. We include mounting hardware for both standard receivers (#6-48 screws) and heavy-duty magnum/target receivers (#8-40 screws), ensuring a secure fit regardless of your specific Savage model. Why choose 20 MOA?
20 MOA angles your scope downward toward the barrel. This forces you to dial your reticle "up" to re-center it, effectively giving you 20 extra minutes of angle of upward adjustment. This is critical for reaching out past 600 yards without running out of internal scope travel.
Is this paint or anodizing?
This is a clear anodize. It protects the aluminum from corrosion and wear just like black anodizing, but allows the natural silver color of the metal to show through, making it a perfect match for stainless steel receivers.
