UNDRILLED Savage 93 and Mark II with 1-5/8" Ejection Port Picatinny Rail 20 MOA Mounting Hardware is IncludedThis mount is not drilled. We have found some receivers have hole spacing that is a little out of spec. We made this mount so the end user could drill the holes to match their receiver. If your receiver is drilled and tapped and matches the hole spacing we have listed on the regular mount, you should be able to use that mount. Please measure the size of your ejection port prior to ordering to ensure the right fit.* Here is a great article from Savage Shooters about the differences between older and newer model MK II rifles. This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides making it ambidextrous. We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately). We recommend:0 MOA - if shooting 0-150 yards20 MOA - if shooting 150-300 yardsThe entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.   Warning: This product may be alloyed with trace amounts of lead and other elements which are known to the State of California to cause reproductive harm and cancer. Used on Winchester M52 (Japan) Sporter. Also paid for the base to be milled to 30 minute angle. 52 front and rear receiver larger O.D. than the Savage 93. Which is good, and that I planned. Hole spacing layed out well with adequate front overhang, as customer wanted. Did fill gap with black steel epoxy but you wouldn’t have to. Had to mill base ejection port opening back about .5” to match gun and symmetrical with at front of ejection port. Worked well for this job

I could not find a rail for my Savage model 40 22 Hornet. No one makes on. So I drilled the Savage 93 rail. It worked perfectly.
