Savage Revel FAQ
Will this fit both the Classic and DLX?
Yes. The receiver drilling is the same for both the Savage Revel Classic and the Savage Revel DLX models.
Does this block the iron sights?
In many cases, the center channel of our rail allows you to see the factory iron sights, but this depends on the specific height of your sights and rear adjustable elevator.

While I am super impressed with the Savage Revel 22lr Rifle, I do believe that it should come with a picatinny rail if Savave is going to drill and tap the receiver for a rail in their own mounting configuation. Since Savage had no option to purchase a rail from there own company at the time I purchased my rifle, EGW's after market rail was a great option. The picatinny rail made by EGW for the Savage Revel has an outstanding Fit, and Finnish but if I had the option to make it perfect, I would have machined a deep center cut to to the rail to be able to use the rifles steel sights with the rail attached to the receiver. If you mount the rail to the rifle, you can no longer use the steel factory sights as it sits in front of the rear sight blocking your view of the front sight. It would be a great option to be able to use both sighting options. All and all, it is a great rail and I am glad I grabbed one from EGW.

The rail was shipped within two days and arrived a few days later. It was made for the Savage Revel lever action .22 rifle and it fit perfectly. It came with an extra screw in case one was lost. Overall I was very happy with the whole process of ordering, quick delivery, and a perfect fit.

Quality product. Fast shipping. Perfect fit on my new Savage Revel .22 long rifle. Only thing that could be better, is if they were to have a built in rear adjustable peep sight system similar to the XS rail for Marlin rifles.
