Installation & Overview
If you are running a S&W M&P .22 Magnum or M&P 5.7, choosing the correct red dot mount is critical for reliability and proper optic alignment. These pistols come factory cut for the Shield RMSc footprint, which limits optic choices.
This EGW adapter plate converts that factory RMSc cut into the widely used Docter footprint, allowing you to run optics like the Vortex Venom (open emitter), Vortex Viper, and Burris FastFire series.
Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in matte black hardcoat, this plate provides a strong, lightweight mounting solution that maintains zero under recoil while keeping your optic securely mounted.
