The EGW red dot sight mount adapter plates for the Walther Q5 Match Optics Ready Models are meant to be installed in the factory slide cut. Simply remove the plate cover and replace it with our mount in order to mount your Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red dot sight to your Walther Q5 Match Optics Ready. You can take our mount off and replace your rear sight at any time. Mounting hardware included.

The screws that come with your slide to mount the plate to the slide may be reused. They are M3 x 6. We currently do not have replacement screws for sale for the plate itself. Walther recommends torquing the screws for the plate to 2Nm or 17.7 in/lbs.The screws to mount the red dot to the plate are provided at no extra cost. We recommend using 15 in/lbs. Installation Instructions- Remove the rear sight*- Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail- Tighten set screw (if applicable)- Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount(placing a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the sight mount will make for easier removal and will keep Loctite off of the red dot sight.)- Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws- Torque mounting screws to 15in/lbs2 Button Head Cap Screws - Provided for Vortex Viper and Venom Sights2 Flat Head Cap Screws - Provided for Burris FastFire and Docter SightsThe screws that are included with this mount require a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation.Modification of your firearm may nullify the manufacturer's warranty.This product should be installed and checked by a qualified gunsmith.No liability is expressed or implied for damage or injury which may result from improper installation or use of this product.Click here to see a video from Vortex on how to install our red dot base on a slide.
