I installed it on an old Kimber Gold Combat. It took some fitting, but it’s tight in the dovetail. The Burris FF3 fit perfectly.

Way too large of a dovetail, I hav a professional shop press couldn't press it looking at it more closely I took a dremel cutter and cut more of an angle, by 3 degrees and also thin it up, I made it work looks great on gun but they should say needs to be cut to fit.

The dovetail on the platform needed to be filed down in order for it to fit into my Kimber Desert Warrior. Other than that, great product.

The mount seemed like it was going on a little tight. The tool was at the point where I could not tighten the pusher anymore so I backed the mount out and could see where it was scuffed by the dovetail slot on the slide. Using a small triangular file I relieved it just a couple of thousandths on each side and tried the fit. It went on smoothly with what I would consider the same effort required to remove the rear sight.

As promised, it took a fair amount of fitting for my Desert Eagle 1911G. But once the work was done it fit perfectly.
