Why do I need this plate if my gun is already "Optics-Ready"?
The factory "Optics-Ready" cut on a CZ Shadow 2 is a proprietary pattern. These pistols may more may not come with an optics mounting plate from the factory. We offer these plates for the 3 major footprints in the red dot industry.
What is a "co-witness"?
"Co-witness" means that you can see your iron sights through the window of your red dot sight. You will not be able toco witness with his plate due to the absence of a rear sight.
Important Fitment Information This mounting plate is designed exclusively for CZ Shadow 2 models that are factory-milled for optics ("Optics-Ready"). It will NOT fit a standard CZ Shadow 2 slide with a dovetail rear sight. For standard slides, please see our dovetail mounting plates.
