This EGW red dot mount is designed to fit both the Kimber Micro 9 and Kimber Micro 380. The factory rear sight is removed and the EGW mount installs into the existing rear sight dovetail.
Product Overview
Add a modern red dot sight to your Kimber Micro 9 or Kimber Micro 380 without machining the slide. This EGW dovetail red dot mount replaces the factory rear sight and provides a secure mounting platform for a wide range of compact pistol optics.
The mount supports optics using the Holosun K / Shield RMSc mounting pattern as well as compatible Leupold DeltaPoint Pro-pattern optics. This gives Micro 9 and Micro 380 owners access to popular red dots including the Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS, EPS Carry, Vortex Defender Series, Shield RMSc, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and other compatible sights.
Each mount is precision machined from 7075 aluminum and finished with a durable matte black hardcoat anodizing. The dovetail mounting system allows the optic to be added without permanently modifying the slide, and the original rear sight can be reinstalled later if desired.
Due to manufacturing tolerances between individual firearms, minor fitting may be required.

VORTEX VENOM COMPATIBILITY
This mount fits the Vortex Venom Enclosed Red Dot. It does not fit the original Vortex Venom open-emitter red dot. The original open-emitter Venom uses the Docter footprint and requires a different EGW mount.
Holosun EPS & EPS Carry Compatibility
This mount is compatible with both the Holosun EPS and Holosun EPS Carry, giving Kimber Micro owners the option to use an enclosed-emitter red dot in addition to traditional open-emitter optics.
Both red and green EPS variants are supported when using the appropriate mounting configuration.

Different optics may require different screw styles or lengths. Always verify that the screws being used are appropriate for your exact optic and provide sufficient thread engagement without bottoming out.
Installation & Fitment
EGW dovetail red dot mounts are designed to be installed from left to right with the muzzle facing forward. The dovetail incorporates a progressive taper to help make installation easier while maintaining a secure fit.
Installation requires removal of the factory rear sight. The EGW mount is then installed into the existing dovetail and secured before the optic is attached.
Because factory dovetail dimensions can vary slightly between individual firearms, minor fitment may be required. We recommend using a quality sight pusher whenever possible.
Verify that the firearm is completely unloaded.
Remove the factory rear sight.
Clean the slide dovetail and mating surfaces to remove oil and debris.
Install the EGW mount into the dovetail from left to right with the muzzle facing forward.
Verify that the mount is centered and securely seated.
Tighten the supplied set screw.
Place the red dot sight onto the EGW mount and verify that it sits completely flat.
Select the appropriate supplied screws for your optic.
Apply a small amount of blue thread-locking compound to the optic mounting screws.
Torque the optic mounting screws evenly to 15 in-lbs.
Verify that the optic and mount are secure before use.
DOVETAIL FITTING NOTE
This mount is designed for a secure press fit. Due to manufacturing tolerances between individual Kimber slides, minor fitting may be required. A sight pusher is recommended for installation. Do not force the mount into the dovetail if excessive resistance is encountered.
