I'm very happy with the mount. My only complaints would be: 1) It was very hard finding your products. I was lucky and found a link on a forum page. 2) I thought (my fault) that a small amount of blue loc-tite would be included. I was disappointed that I had to wait until the following day for assembly. Overall, I'm please with the final result.

This is an excellent alternative to drilling and tapping an older Ruger Mk 2 if you want to add a dot.

Well I had a little bit of difficulty installing it really tight fit but I guess that's good big improvement over what I had was running a Seymour with a tandem cross mound use this and went to a vortex defender XL I dropped the thing down probably a half an inch really like it

Mounted this base on a Ruger MK-4. It fit the dovetail with minimal hand fitting. The base has set screws to hold it centered. Good product.

Exactly what I wanted. Trying to divine the proper mount took a few minutes, so many variants are offered at EGW. I was able to replace my third attempt at ineffectual "irons" with a Swampfox Sentinel I removed from another gun. All the iron sights offered for Ruger MKII mimic those of the original Ruger set and I find them to be lacking in every sense. The addition of the red dot to my ancient Ruger MkII Target (purchased, by me, almost 40 years ago) was a game changer. I now enjoy taking the gun to the range instead of just letting it languish in the safe for a few more decades. The mount tapped in easily and has the proper indexing pins such that the sight will retain zero when I have to change the batteries (I have to remove the red dot to replace the battery, Swampfox deficiency). My Sig P365 has no such indexing bosses, hence zero is lost when I had to remove the red dot. Irritating. Excellent product at a great price. It has breathed another life into a gun I rarely used because of the stock-like sights. I did chuckle at the Cheesesteak Chad decal included in the package, too.

This is my third sight mount purchase from EGW. This time it was for my Ruger Mark 2 with a Holosun 507k. Removing the rear pins was required for this mount but it was simple and only took about 5 minutes to file them down. Will purchase from them again.
