You can take our mount off and replace your rear sight at any time. “I thought I would take a chance to see if this would fit my fathers (gifted to me) Ruger Security six .357 Mag. To my surprise it fits fine considering a little research that the Security Six and the Blackhawk share the same original adjustable sights from Ruger. I filed a bevel at the bottom of the EGW mount recoil lug to fit the radiused area of the topstrap where the adjustable sight normally bottoms out. Perfect fit in my case. Have not tested the setup yet, wish there was more than one screw to secure in place...looks good.”

“I currently don't own a, Ruger Redhawk, but I am thinking of getting one this product is perfect (I have "old-man" eyes) and I can not effectively shoot open sights any more. The workmanship appears to be outstanding. When I get it on a revolver, I will right another review. Best Regards, Pete Posey Portland OR”

“I didn’t think I could put a red dot on my 44 mag Super Blackhawk but EGW had a RMR mount that fit my revolver like a glove and a Holosun red dot(either a 407C or 507C) worked great. Great addition to help accuracy.”

“Great sight mount, works well on my .22lr GP100. Been using it over a year with no issues. I have no reason to suspect it wouldn't work equally well on centerfire magnum calibers.”
