You can take our mount off and replace your rear sight at any time. Mounting hardware included.Installation Instructions- Remove the rear sight*- Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail- Tighten set screw (if applicable)- Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount(placing a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the sight mount will make for easier removal and will keep Loctite off of the red dot sight.)- Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws- Torque mounting screws to 15in/lbs2 Flat Head Cap Screws - Provided for Trijicon RMRThe screws that are included with this mount require a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation. “It is a very good fit. The rear ends up being like .002 above slide. To make the dovetail fit you have to take material off the sides of the dovetail and not the bottom since taking off the bottom would make the plate hit the slide when driving on. The plates I have for the sp01 have a lot of space between plate and slide. Wish they could be designed like this s2 plate. I have p01, sp01, cz75 and the plate you sell for them is really high above slide on all of them. The cz75 plate needs redesigning.”

“The plate is rugged and the reddot mounted on it perfectly however the dovetail design is not good ( there should be 2 holes for screws to secure it to the slide of the shadow 2 which has 2 screw grooves to prevent the plate from moving ) . After 50 rounds the plate moved .”

“Worked perfect for my Shadow 2. Well worth the update of my Shadow 2 versus trading up for optics ready Shadow and buying a special CZ plate. EGW mount, 407c green dot, and $30 gun smith fee totaled $315.”
