What is the Trijicon RMR footprint?
The Trijicon RMR footprint is the industry standard for full-size, slide-mounted pistol optics. It is characterized by two screw holes and two deep locating sockets that absorb recoil, making it exceptionally durable. This pattern is used by dozens of optics, including the popular Holosun 407c and 507c models.
Will this plate allow my sights to co-witness?
Due to the design of the AOS system and the height of most red dots that use this footprint, this plate is not designed to co-witness with factory-height iron sights. For a backup aiming solution, you would need to install taller, suppressor-height iron sights.
