Do you need to install a reverse plug in a 1911 slide that has a shoulder at the rear of the spring plug tunnel? This tool allows you to remove that shoulder so you don't have to use a dremel. Our slide shoulder cutter is .500" in diameter. We recommend using one of our reverse plug cutters with this tool to easily modify your slide for a reverse plug. Warning: This product may be alloyed with trace amounts of lead and other elements which are known to the State of California to cause reproductive harm and cancer. “EGW’s 1/2” shoulder cutter worked perfectly to remove the bushing retaining shoulder on a Tisas 9mm DS Nightstalker. It allowed me to install an Atlas captured full length guide rod using a drill, cutting oil, and some patience. EGW came thru with another quality tool to add to my bench!”

“Works as designed. Cut 2 slides today, hand drill, Tap Magic cutting fluid at 150 rpm. Cuts are clean and uniform. Another great tool purchased from EGW.”

“Left a very clean, quick cut on a Gold Cup Trophy stainless steel slide at 200 RPM with LPS cutting fluid. Much cleaner than Colt's. Price is good too.”
