“I just cut two reverse plug shoulders with this piloted carbide cutter. This was the first time I ever cut these shoulders and they came out perfect. The key with using this tool is to mount the slide very solid in a vertical position and make sure that the pilot is indexed properly. If you do those two things, the cutting part is a breeze. I highly recommend this cutter.”

“I had a reverse plug cutter I bought in the mid 80's but couldn't find it. I purchased the EGW reverse plug cutter and was pleasantly surprised, the length of the cutter was right to use in my milling machine whereas the other was driven by hand. The EGW cutter made quick work of removing the smaller diameter at the rear of the spring tunnel in the slide. The tool is sharp, cuts well, is easy to use, and does a professional job. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this cutter to amatuer or professional.”

“My first time doing a bull barrel conversion went extremely well. The most crucial part is the fitting of the reverse plug, and it was almost foolproof when using the carbide piloted cutter from EGW. It took morentime to set up the slide in my vertical mill than it did to actually perform the procedure.”
