When to Choose a 40 MOA Rail
A 40 MOA rail is a specialized piece of equipment for a specific mission.
✔ For Extreme Long Range (ELR): A 40 MOA cant is purpose-built for engaging targets at the edge of the .22LR's capabilities (300, 400, 500+ yards). It provides the maximum possible built-in elevation, keeping your scope's adjustments well within their optimal range.
✔ Required for Certain Scopes: Some rifle scopes have a more limited range of internal elevation travel. A 40 MOA base can be a necessity to give these optics enough "room to dial" for long range rimfire competitions.
✔ Keeps Your Optic Clear: By preserving your scope's internal travel, you are using the center of the lens, which is the optically clearest path. This can significantly improve image quality and reduce distortion on very distant targets.

✔ Torque Specs: 20 in/lbs for the base screws.
✔ Thread Locker: We always recommend a drop of blue Loctite (sold separately) to prevent screws from loosening under vibration.
We recommend measuring the hole spacing on your receiver to confirm it matches the dimensions we have published.
