Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. We recommend:0 MOA -if shooting 0-500 yards20 MOA -if shooting 500-1000 yardsWhen zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, we recommend zeroing at 200 yards.Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately). The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA. “EGW solved the problem I was having in finding a picitany scope base with enough MOA elevation to give me the adjustment range to 1K plus meters, depending on what caliber I was shooting. CZ550 and CZ527 rifles are built to have the scope rings mount directly to the upper receiver, verses a scope rail that you can attach to the top of receiver, like on most other actions. EGW engineered a picitany rail that would utilize CZ's scope mount points to mount their scope base. They did a fantastic job and at a price point that concerned me because I'm not used to getting more than what I paid for. I'm just glad that they are on my radar now and I hope that this review helps someone like me, who needed a 25 MOA plus picatinny rail for a 6.5 Grendel for my 527 and 26 Nosler for my CZ 550 base needs. They have been both solved problems, and at a lower price point then I'm used to spending without a huge difference in quality that one would expect!”
