Why EGW is the Best Scope Mount for Your CZ 457
The CZ 457 is a world-class rimfire rifle that dominates the precision shooting circuit. A high-performance rifle demands a high-performance optics platform. Our HD Picatinny rail is engineered to provide the most stable foundation possible, eliminating variables and allowing you to achieve the highest level of accuracy.
Machined from Solid 7075 T6 Billet: We don't use standard 6061 aluminum. Our HD mounts are CNC-machined from a solid block of American-sourced, aerospace-grade 7075 T6 aluminum. This material is significantly stronger and more rigid, ensuring that your mount will not flex or shift, which is critical for competition.
Perfect, Stress-Free Fit: This base is designed exclusively for the CZ 457 receiver. It's machined to follow the exact contour of the action, creating a full-contact, no-gap fit. This stress-free mounting prevents any accuracy-robbing tension from being applied to your rifle's action.
Full-Length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Slots: Our rail provides a continuous mounting surface with standardized cross slots, allowing you to position your scope rings anywhere for perfect, comfortable eye relief, a critical factor in maintaining a consistent cheek weld from one stage to the next.
Made in the USA: Precision-crafted in our shop and backed by a lifetime of service, this is a true "buy it for life" upgrade for your rifle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a Picatinny rail better than the factory 11mm dovetail?
While the factory 11mm dovetail is functional, a one-piece Picatinny rail that screws directly to the receiver provides a much more stable and versatile platform. It prevents any potential for scope ring misalignment under recoil or during transport and allows you to use a far wider variety of robust, readily available Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, which are the standard in competition.
What is a 0 MOA scope mount for?
A 0 MOA mount is a parallel mount that has no built-in angle. It is the perfect choice for shooting at typical rimfire distances (0-200 yards) and ensures you have a full range of your scope's internal adjustment for easy zeroing at 50 or 100 yards. It is the most common choice for many forms of rimfire competition.
Will this mount fit my CZ 455 or 452?
No. This mount is designed specifically for the CZ 457 receiver. The CZ 455 and 452 have different receiver contours and hole spacings. Please see our dedicated CZ category page to find the correct mount for your rifle.
