You will need to remove the plastic plugs on your receiver before installing this picatinny rail. We always recommend making sure the threaded holes are completely clear of any debris before installing the rail. Place the rail on the receiver with the overhang facing forward, place a small dab of blue thread locker on the provided mounting screws and torque them to 20 in/lbs. We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. We recommend:0 MOA - if shooting 0-500 yards20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yardsWhen zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, we recommend zeroing at 200 yards. Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately). The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.   Warning: This product may be alloyed with trace amounts of lead and other elements which are known to the State of California to cause reproductive harm and cancer. The rail itself is well made, my only complaint is that this is the second one I have purchased and mounted on a Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus and on both guns I had to grind the screws down as they are too long once installed. The screws do not allow the barrel to slide back in the receiver as they are not flush with the receiver. You have to take off about two threads on each screw to allow the barrel to be reassembled. Other than that complaint, they make a great product.

Thank you so much for being a customer and taking the time to leave a review! I’m really sorry to hear that the screws you received were too long. We’ve encountered this issue a few times, and we’ve since started stocking shorter screws to prevent this from happening in the future. If you ever run into a similar issue again, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us, and we’d be more than happy to send you the correct size screws right away. I’m glad to hear you were able to sort things out on your own and get your bases mounted on your gun! Thanks again for your feedback

The workmanship on this picatinny rail are spot on. Fits my Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus perfect with one exception. When you mount it the screws that came with the rail are too long and they hit the barrel when you try to re-assemble the shotgun. I had to take it to a gunsmith who ground down the screws from the inside of the receiver in order for my barrel to slide back into position. I ordered another one to put on my son's Beretta and I hope I do not have to go through the same procedure with his shotgun.

The mount is easy to install and gives plenty of rail space to give lots of flexibility on where you want your red dot. The one downside is that the mounting screws are so long that you cannot remove the barrel for maintenance with the rail installed. The screws pop out of the bottom of the top of the receiver, but nothing a file or dremel couldn't fix to shorten the screws a bit.

I purchased this rail as the Beretta 350 Turkey Extrema rebuild didn’t have one in the box. Mounted it & it fit perfect. Nice item.

Fits like a glove! The only problem you'll face is popping out the plastic plugs installed by the factory. Otherwise the EGW rail is rock solid!

I installed this Picatinny Rail on a Beretta A400. With the screws that came with the rail, I could not remove the barrel because they were 2 threads too long and extending into the receiver. After a short phone call with EGW support, they sent me a new/smaller set of screws. The second time I installed the rail, it was a good fit. I can now remove the barrel, the action works and I'm happy. This product is well made and EGW customer service is excellent.
